About The Project and The Program
In this project titled "The development of an adaptive, web-based assessment tool for evaluating the literacy, numeracy and digital skills levels of low/skilled/low qualified adults in Turkey", a web-based and adaptive assessment tool will be developed for the determination of literacy, numeracy and digital skill levels of adults between the age of 18-40, most of whom are secondary school graduates, or in particular for priority groups identified by countries in the framework of the Recommendation, where relevant.
The project received financial support from the European Union's Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI) program. The duration of the project is 18 months. The project budget is € 327.167,5.
This project was supported by the call for proposals under the EaSI Program, numbered VP/2018/008 and themed “Support for the deployment of skills assessment in the implementation of “Upskilling Pathways”.
The overall objective of this program is to support member states (and other EaSI countries at their request) in the process of implementing the Council Recommendation entitled "Upskilling Pathways: New Opportunities for Adults" (December 2016).
The specific objective of this program is to support the implementation of individual skills assessment (including literacy, numeracy and digital skills) for adults with low levels of skills/qualifies (and in particular for priority groups identified by countries in the framework of the Recommendation, where relevant), which is an integral element of the Council Recommendation on Upskilling Pathways by national and / or regional authorities.
